Change in conditions for using the Multisport card
From May 1, 2026, an additional fee of 30 CZK will be applied to each entry to classes when using a Multisport card. This fee applies to both standard and student cards.
This change has been adopted by the vast majority of studios and follows an update in Multisport’s terms, which now allow fees for yoga, pilates, and barre classes. This is therefore not an individual decision or change in MOOD’s conditions, but a broader change that is being implemented across the entire yoga and pilates segment.
Due to the fee requirement, we will no longer accept Multisport FKSP cards, as these cards contractually prohibit any additional payments.
How Multisport payments work
When using a Multisport card, the client does not pay the studio directly for the class. Instead, the studio receives a contractually agreed amount from Multisport for each card check-in. This amount does not match the actual price of the class and is significantly lower.
With the current change in terms, this setup is being further adjusted in a way that increases the gap between the amount paid by Multisport and the standard class price. This means that for a client using a Multisport card, the studio receives a lower payment compared to regularly paying clients.
By introducing the fee, studios will not receive more from Multisport clients than from other clients. On the contrary, it is only a partial compensation for this difference.
Why we are introducing the fee
Our goal in MOOD is to maintain the long-term quality of our classes, instructors, and studio operations.
In recent years, operating costs have increased significantly. The fee allows us to maintain the quality of our classes even with a high proportion of Multisport clients.
We have set the fee (30 CZK) at the lowest possible level so that we can continue to accept Multisport cards long-term, maintain service quality, and minimize the impact on our clients.
When the change takes effect
The change will apply to all classes from May 1, 2026. For any class from this date onward, it will be necessary to pay the fee when using a Multisport card.
How it will work in practice
You will still need to have a deposit equal to the class price in your account to make a reservation. This deposit will be returned to your profile after your Multisport card is scanned at reception.
The fee can then be paid separately in several ways:
- Recommended:
The best option is to top up a dedicated “Multisport Fee” credit in the booking system. The fee will then be automatically deducted from this credit, so you won’t need to handle payment at reception each time. This credit is valid for 12 months. - Not recommended:
You can also pay the fee at reception before the class (cash or card). However, due to the number of clients using Multisport cards, this will significantly slow down check-in times. For this reason, we do not recommend this option. - Not possible:
For accounting reasons, the fee cannot be paid using your deposit.
If you do not attend a booked class for any reason, only the deposit will be deducted. You will not be charged the fee in this case.
In conclusion
Multisport cards remain a fully valid way to access our classes. We truly appreciate that many of you come to us thanks to them.
We see the introduction of the fee as a necessary step that allows us to maintain the level of quality you are used to at MOOD.
Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to continue seeing you on the mat.
